A writer, strategist, illustrator and designer, with a background in marketing and strategic communications, Graeme (or Kereama if you want to say it in Maori) approaches ideas from all angles and turns even the stubborn ones into something special.
Graeme’s worked for a students’ association, a tourism and events organisation and one of New Zealand’s largest and most dynamic universities – where he graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Media studies and Communication, and in English.
From the horse’s mouth:
I was born just before the 80s kicked in. The decade that delivered neon socks, Garbage Pail Kids and an inflated sense of security through consumption, the 80s began the acceleration of technological change that gave people like me, extraordinary and ever-improving tools for our trade.
I grew up in Havelock North – a leafy, cloistered little suburb of Hastings – in Sunny Hawke’s Bay on New Zealand’s East Coast. A mixture of Irish, Welsh and Maori heritage, I am a member of the Ngati Porou iwi (tribe).
